A. Privacy Notice

We take the confidential handling of personal data and the protection of your privacy very seriously.

We process your data in accordance with the applicable legal provisions for the protection of personal data, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-DS-GVO) and the country-specific laws that apply to us.

B. Use of the website and cookies

You can visit the Credema AG website and find out about our products and services without disclosing any personal data. We ask for personal data where this is necessary for the provision of our own services (see Section II, Paragraph A).

In order for our website to function properly, we sometimes place so-called “cookies” on your device. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device and that your browser stores (locally on your hard drive). C. Social Network Plugins

We use so-called social plug-ins; such as the “Like button” of various providers/networks (e.g. facebook, twitter, google+, linkedin, xing, etc.). These plug-ins are provided and operated directly by these providers and are clearly marked with their logo. If you call up one of our pages that contains such a plug-in, your browser establishes a connection to the servers of these providers. The content of the plug-in is then transmitted directly to your browser by these providers and displayed accordingly in our environment, without us having any influence on the content of this plug-in.

Under certain circumstances, these providers can trace your visit to our corresponding pages and assign one of your user accounts to one of your user accounts if you are registered with this provider or have recently visited a page from these providers. D. Customer Data Retention

We store your personal data at least to the extent and for as long as it is necessary to provide our services or we are legally obliged to do so.

For legal and accounting reasons, Credema AG stores the personal data collected from customers for the processing of business activities/services for at least 10 years after the last processing operation. We keep other data for as long as this is necessary to execute the contract and to protect our rights. Longer legal and operational storage obligations/reasons are reserved.

Personal data collected for marketing purposes is usually only deleted if this is explicitly requested by the customer.

E. Data security

We protect your personal data with appropriate technical and organizational security measures and store them on secure servers. The website is secured by state-of-the-art measures against loss, destruction and manipulation as well as against access, modification or distribution by unauthorized persons. Particularly sensitive data (e.g. access data for the profile account) is encrypted (SSL) during transmission over the Internet.

However, Credema AG does not guarantee that your data will be backed up. It is your responsibility to always create an up-to-date backup copy of the transmitted data and to store it independently of the website. It is also your responsibility to provide a secure password for your customer account, to keep it safe and to change it at regular intervals.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. An objection only applies to the future and does not affect previous processing. Any costs incurred that have already been rendered as services (including material procurement and order processing that has begun) are to be paid by the customer.

II. Processing of personal data in connection with the provision of our services

A. Purpose of Data Processing and Collection

We process your data in connection with the newsletter in order to send you news about and in connection with Credema AG. In addition, we also process and use the e-mail address you enter to send you personalized offers in connection with the newsletter.
